2 YEARS WARRANTY
- In order to fully comply with the EU Legislation on Product Warranties, CMC ELECTRIC LTD offers a limited 2 YEARS WARRANTY to the buyer of the product, at no extra cost.
This limited warranty is in force as of the date of purchase. In case the product is replaced, the term of warranty shall continue to be in force for the rest of the two-year period. - CMC ELECTRIC LTD products will be covered by warranty either by the Company or by its official representative in Cyprus.
- Please have your model number and date of purchase to hand when you call. You’ll find all of this information on your original invoice – this acts as your guarantee, so please make sure you
keep it safe. - During the term of warranty, CMC ELECTRIC LTD, at its discretion, shall repair free of charge the faulty product and return the repaired product to the buyer in operational condition.
If we can’t repair your item, we’ll replace it with an item of equivalent specification. If no equivalent product is available, we’ll either offer you the nearest equivalent specification or its
selling price value, and we’ll always do our best to make sure you’re satisfied with the outcome. - The said limited warranty is the sole and exclusive means of customer satisfaction against CMC ELECTRIC LTD and the sole and exclusive obligation of CMC ELECTRIC LTD towards the customer for defects or malfunctions of the product. The said limited warranty replaces all other warranties and obligations, either oral or written (non-compulsory), by law, contractual, wrongfulor others. CMC ELECTRIC LTD shall in no case be responsible for any accidental, incidental or indirect damage, expenses or costs.
Guarantee won’t cover:
- The defect was caused because the product was used in a manner contrary to the manufacturer’s instructions, the product was exposed to extreme thermal or environmental conditions, humidity, erosion, oxidation, non-authorised alterations or connections, non-authorised opening or repair, repair with the use of non-authorised parts, misuse, inappropriate installation, accident, natural phenomena, food or liquid or other actions beyond the reasonable control of CMC ELECTRIC LTD.
- Cosmetic damage such as trim, scratches, dents, corrosion or color where the function of the product is unaffected
- Unblocking drainage channels in refrigeration or air-conditioner equipments
- Frozen food loss as a result of the product breaking down
- Any damage caused from defective water supply and drainage. It is up to the homeowner to ensure that both water supply and drainage meets the installation requirements.
- Any loss suffered as a result of not being able to use the product, or any loss over and above the purchase price of the original item.
- Deliberate damage or neglect of the insured product
Remember that no warranty covers everything and that there can be many exclusions to any warranty, calling out someone to resolve an issue that is not covered by your guarantee will almost certainly mean you have to pay for that service!
